Which Audis suit a Mobis battery

On an Audi, Mobis is mostly a calcium battery for older A3, A4 and TT without start-stop. Start-stop cars from roughly 2012 onwards need AGM or EFB, and we only fit Mobis AGM where the case size genuinely matches. A6, A7, A8, Q7 and Q8 typically need large H7 to H9 AGM batteries, which are better sourced from other brands. Any battery we fit is coded to the energy management.

Yes, if size, terminals and capacity match. It is a Hyundai and Kia parts brand, so the choice of Audi sizes is limited. We check first and will suggest an alternative if it is not a proper fit.

Is Mobis suitable for an Audi with start-stop?

Only where a matching AGM size exists, which is not common. For most start-stop Audis we recommend a brand with a full European AGM range so the car keeps charging correctly.

Why would I choose Mobis over a European brand?

Mainly if you already trust it from another car, or if it is the quickest correct size available. For an older Audi with simple electrics it does the job reliably.
