Which battery does your Audi need?
Got start-stop? You need AGM or EFB. A normal battery in there dies fast.
Holds charge through restarts, heavy electrics and vibration. Standard on most Audis after 2012.
Toughened flooded battery for lighter start-stop duty. Found in smaller Audis. Can be upgraded to AGM.
Old-style battery. Fine if your Audi has no start-stop — mostly pre-2010 cars. Never for a start-stop car.
Newer big Audis have a separate 48V pack for the hybrid system. You still have a 12V AGM — that is the one we replace.
Not sure what is in yours? The label says AGM or EFB. Send us a photo.

Why Audi batteries die early here
2 to 3 years is normal in the Gulf. Heat does it. Usual causes:
Heat
Parked outside in July cooks the battery. Shaded basement parking lasts much longer.
-
Short trips, AC on full
Ten-minute school runs with everything on take more than the alternator puts back.
-
Parked for weeks in summer
Alarm, keyless entry, connected stuff — all sip power. Three weeks can flatten an old battery.
-
Wrong type fitted last time
Normal battery in a start-stop Audi? Expect the warning back within months.
-
New battery never coded
Car still thinks the old one is in. Charges wrong. Dies early.
-
Drain or charging fault
Bad alternator, stuck module, cheap accessory. That is why we test before we sell.
Make the next one last
Can't change the weather. These help.
-
Park in shade
A few degrees less under the bonnet slows it down.
-
One good drive a week
30 minutes on the highway tops up short city trips.
-
Test before summer
Check it in April or May, before the first 45-degree week.
-
Switch off before you stop
AC and lights off before the engine. Don't sit with MMI on battery.
-
Going away?
Away 3+ weeks? Get someone to drive it, or use a trickle charger.
-
Right type, coded
AGM for AGM, EFB for EFB or AGM — coded the same day.

Quick answers
Short answers. Anything else — WhatsApp us.
How fast can you replace an Audi battery in Dubai?
The nearest van usually reaches you in 20 to 35 minutes in Dubai, a little longer in outer Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Fitting and coding take 25 to 45 minutes depending on where the battery sits in your model.
Does an Audi need battery coding after replacement?
Most Audis built from around 2008 do. The car's energy management has to be told a new battery is fitted, with its capacity and type. We do this on site with a diagnostic tool as part of the fitting.
Which battery does my Audi need, AGM or EFB?
If your Audi has start-stop, it needs AGM or EFB, and most larger models need AGM. We check by model, year and the label on the old battery, then fit the same technology or better.
Where is the battery in my Audi?
It depends on the model. A3, Q2 and Q3 carry it in the engine bay. A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 and Q5 usually have it under the boot floor. The first Q7 has it under a front seat. Our technician will know before arriving.
Can you come to a basement or tower car park?
Yes. Most of our Dubai jobs are in basements and podium car parks. The technician carries the battery and tools in by hand if the van cannot enter. Tell security a service visit is coming.
Do you cover Abu Dhabi and Sharjah?
Yes. We cover Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi city, including Khalifa City, Yas Island, Reem Island and Mussafah. Arrival times outside central areas are confirmed when you message.
What warranty do I get?
Up to 24 months, depending on the battery brand and type you choose. The warranty is recorded against your car and sent to you on WhatsApp, and a claim is handled at your location.
How can I pay?
Card or cash once the job is done, or split the cost into four payments with Tabby or Tamara. There is no charge for delivery, fitting or coding when you buy the battery from us.
What if the battery is not the problem?
Then we do not sell you one. The test covers the battery, alternator and starter draw. If the fault is elsewhere, we tell you what we found and can arrange recovery to a workshop.
Do electric Audis like the e-tron need a 12V battery?
Yes. Every e-tron and plug-in hybrid has a 12V battery that powers the locks, screens and control units. When it fails the car will not switch on even with a full high-voltage battery. We replace those too.
