On an Audi specifically
Every Audi has a paint code, such as LY9B, printed on the vehicle data sticker. You usually find it in the boot near the spare wheel well and in the service booklet. The code gives the formula, but years of UAE sun shift the shade, so the mix is still adjusted against the car.

Why is the clear coat peeling on my car roof?
Strong UV and heat break down the clear coat over the years, and horizontal panels take the worst of it. Once it lifts, polishing cannot bring it back. The panel has to be sanded and resprayed.
Can you paint just one panel?
Yes. A single panel can be resprayed, and the colour is blended into the neighbouring panels so the eye sees no step. On silver and pearl colours, blending matters more than on solid white or black.
Where is the paint code on my Audi?
Look on the vehicle data sticker, usually in the boot floor near the spare wheel well, and on the same sticker inside the service booklet. It is a short code of letters and numbers. Send us a photo.
How long should I wait before washing after a respray?
Follow the paint shop advice for your job. As a rule, wash gently by hand at first and avoid automatic brushes, polish and wax for the first few weeks while the paint finishes hardening.
